Head to the Thomas Dunn Learning Center on Saturday, May 14th at 9am for the Incarnate Word Foundation’s 6th Annual Marketplace of Ideas Showcase. Five finalists will exhibit their proposals for youth summer programs and residents will have an opportunity to vote on which three receive a $10,000 grant.

Dig In!

A summer program for Dutchtown teens that focuses on health food through field trips to community gardens, fresh food preparation, and learning how to cook meals on a budget.

Dutchtown Summer Camp

A five week summer camp featuring literacy skill building, flag football, mentorship, and a healthy meal. At the end of the summer they will host an open house and barbecue.

Peacemaking in the Digital Commons

A six day youth arts program in Gravois Park focusing on peacemaking and conflict resolution through the form of media literacy, photography and video, dance and movement, and digital editing.

South Broadway Art Project

Six weeks of week long and day long art workshops for youth, featuring fashion design and pottery. The youth will also participate in a community service outreach project.

Turn Up Your Talent

A week long summer session for underserved youth that will feature leaders from the fields of voice coaching, production, and poetry reading and expose students to career opportunities in the performing arts.
