The Dutchtown Safe, Clean, and Green Committee works with neighborhood stakeholders on beautification and maintenance, security, community justice services, and green initiatives. Safe, Clean, and Green works on strategies for improving perceptions and realities in Dutchtown by developing strategies to tackle safety and beautification issues.
The Dutchtown Organization Committee’s goal is to bring the community together to build consensus and a common vision, assemble resources, and lead revitalization. Our committee unites the volunteer, fundraising, and communication networks that make things happen.

Dutchtown organizations and Earth Day 365 are teaming up for a cleanup at Marquette Park in celebration of Earth Day! Join your neighbors at Thomas Dunn Learning Center to pick up trash and spruce up the park in advance of a busy season at Marquette.
The Dutchtown Community Improvement District Board of Directors holds monthly meetings to discuss the business of the Dutchtown CID and to receive feedback from the Dutchtown Committees. While voting is restricted to board members, all are welcome to attend the meetings and learn more about the CID in general.

DT2 • Downtown Dutchtown invites business owners and other Dutchtown neighbors to Before Hours! Before Hours is an opportunity for local business owners to meet, network, and stay up to date on what’s happening in Dutchtown.
The Dutchtown Design Committee works on improvements to the neighborhood’s physical elements, while preserving the community’s authentic character and sense of space. We look at our historic buildings and public spaces and seek ways to improve these invaluable assets.
The Dutchtown Economic Vitality Committee strengthens anddiversifies the local economy by supporting existing Dutchtown businesses, encouraging entrepreneurship in the neighborhood, and seeking appropriate development. We’ll work with current and potential business owners, residential and commercial property owners, and other parties to bring investment and economic activity to Dutchtown.

The Dutchtown Promotion Committee is the marketing arm of Dutchtown. We get the word out about activity, culture, commerce, and community life, market Dutchtown’s assets, and amplify a positive image for the neighborhood. We organize events, promote local businesses, and develop a strong brand and presence for Dutchtown.
The gardeners of the VAL Community Garden are teaming up with Gateway Greening and other volunteers to get the garden off to a great start this summer!
