There’s great weather forecasted for this Saturday. We suggest you head to Marquette Park and the Thomas Dunn Learning Center for some fun and education!
There’s already lots on the calendar for September, but we’ll keep this post updated when anything else comes up! You can try to keep up here, check DutchtownSTL.org/calendar, like our page on Facebook (facebook.com/DutchtownSTL), or follow us on Twitter (@DutchtownSTL) to stay up to date on events around the neighborhood.
The inaugural Common Sound Festival is coming to Marquette Park on Saturday, September 30th. The festival is being produced by Dutchtown South Community Corporation and will feature music, dance, food, craft vendors, and a chance to preview the Marquette Field House. Festival goers will also help to break the record for world’s longest soul train! Your help is needed!
Gravois Park Neighborhood Meeting
The Gravois Park Neighborhood Association meets this Tuesday, August 8th, and every second Tuesday at 6PM in the old Jefferson Bank building at 3353 California, just north of Cherokee.
Several events are taking place around the neighborhood in the last full week of May:
Join the Downtown Dutchtown Business Association for their monthly After Hours on Wednesday, May 17th at the new Arcades Market. Peruse their expansive inventory of arcade video games for sale. Some will be available to play!
The Downtown Dutchtown Business Association‘s biennial fundraiser is here! Join us on Wednesday, October 26th, from 6:30–10:30 at the Bluffs on Broadway for food, drink, and entertainment, with proceeds to benefit DT2’s Dutchtown CID (Community Improvement District) Public Safety Budget, to increase private police, security and safety initiatives.
There are plenty of opportunities to get out and about in Dutchtown this Saturday. We hope to see you around!
