Marquette Park Pool Opening
Dive into summer with the opening of the Marquette Park Pool! Dutchtown Main Streets and Allies of Marquette Park will be poolside, celebrating the opening of the season with barbecue, music, and community resources.

The Place Grand Re-Opening
Celebrate the return of The Place! Located upstairs at the Marquette Recreation Center, The Place is Thomas Dunn Learning Center‘s youth drop-in center where young people ages 13 to 22 can have a comfortable spot to study, play video games, shoot pool, charge phones, or just kick back.

Spirit Mind & Body Fair
Marquette Recreation Center hosts the Spirit, Mind, and Body Fair, bringing you healthcare information, voter registration, exercise, massages, and more all under one roof!

Allies of Marquette Park Meeting
Join the Allies of Marquette Park for their second meeting at the Marquette Park Recrecation Center. We will tour the facilities, continue discussing capacity and organization building, and work on final preparations for the dive-in movie fundraiser set for July 17th.
Grand Opening of The Place
You’re invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening of The Place, a new youth drop-in center at the Marquette Recreation Center. The ribbon cutting is at 2pm on June 19th.

Marquette Pool Opening
The South Side’s only free public pool opens for the summer on May 25th. Join us for a party! We’ll have a DJ, free food, games, and more.
Marquette Community Day
Marquette Community Day is Saturday, August 4th. Come down to the Rec Center for free food, loaded backpacks, free haircuts, enrollment in tutoring and after school programs, and games and giveaways. Marquette Community Day is from 11am to 4pm.

Gravois-Jefferson Historic Neighborhoods Plan Public Meeting #3: Neighborhood
Residents are coming together to craft a vision for the future of Benton Park West, Gravois Park and North East Dutchtown. This will be the third working meeting on the theme of “Neighborhood”: Join us for an open conversation and planning session about our neighborhood and how we can partner to make a long term impact in the area. We are building a formal neighborhood plan to guide our community’s development over the next 10 years and beyond.
