Join St. Cecilia Historic District and Grand-Bates Historic Neighborhood for the 2nd cleanup effort at Virginia and Bates. They will meet at Virginia and Bates, between the BP and Tin Cup, and spread out. This is to show our neighborhood businesses in this area that we are committed to improving the intersection, and make a main entrance into our neighborhoods more presentable. Bring your gloves, pickup tools, trash bags, and a friend or three.

Officer Keith Novara will conduct a training for the Neighborhood Ownership Model (NOM) Citizens on Patrol (COP) program. Participants are trained to identify problems and engage law enforcement to intervene when they believe a crime is occurring, and to understand the needs of your neighborhood and report back on problems identified during patrol. Even if you aren’t interested in joining an organized patrol you will learn things every neighbor should know.
The St. Cecilia Historic District Neighborhood Association meets on the third Tuesday of every month at St. Cecilia School.

St. Cecilia Parish hosts a trivia night on Saturday, January 26th. Admission of $25 per person includes soda, beer, and light snacks. Proceeds benefit St. Cecilia’s parish athletic program.
