Many people have heard the call to deliver justice for George Floyd and bring an end to the police brutality that threatens the lives of black people across America. Dutchtown families have come together to organize a march to provide a safe and peaceful way to show solidarity with George Floyd’s family and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Dutchtown neighbors and supporters are encouraged to gather at the Neighborhood Innovation Center on Saturday, June 13th. We will assemble beginning at 8:30am and begin marching at 8:46am.
For the safety of all participants, we ask that everyone come wearing a mask and be prepared to maintain a safe distance. Other recommended items include water, signs and walking shoes.
